As of May 1, 2020, Rexall will no longer be a participating partner of the AIR MILES Reward Program as it pursues an alternate business strategy.
So, what does this mean?
Up to and including April 30, 2020, you can still get Miles and use AIR MILES Cash Miles at Rexall. After this date, you can continue to get and use Miles for comparable over-the-counter cosmetic and health products through the wide range of other Partners including Sobeys, Safeway, Metro, PJC Jean Coutu and other Partners.
Plus, you can get Miles on the latest beauty products from online brands such as Sephora, Lancome, Amazon and more by shopping with airmilesshops.ca.
However, there is nothing posted on the Airmiles website yet about this impending change and it still says you can use 95 Cash Miles = $10 towards your purchases at Rexall with no cut-off date.
I am personally not a fan and an avid collector of Air Miles and will only collect when I get them and not go out of the way to collect them. One main reason for me is that the Air Miles can only be redeemed for flights in economy.
I had a feeling something new was coming when Rexall was frequently offering $10 gift cards on purchases of $30 instead of bonus Air Miles. It will be interesting to see what new business strategy Rexall will be rolling out.

I’m very un happy about this. Rexall is now going to lose alot of my business as I usually spend over 2400.00 a year before taxes at rexall to collect my airmiles, when they have their spend $50.00 get 100 air miles.
Why would Rexall leave airmiles. ?? I’m so shocked, so disappointed to hear this sad news.
Lisa – Rexall has introducing their own “Be Well” program. See letsbewell.ca for details.
Will not get a points card for just one store. Rexall has totally lost my business.
As I shopped at Rexall primarily because of the Air Miles program, will now go back to Shoppers and their Optimum program. Too bad Rexall. Im only one but it was the reason I shopped there. Same thing happened when Sport Check dropped air miles, took business elsewhere!
