Porter which operates out of downtown Toronto, has just announced that they are deferring its resumption of flights until February 11 due to ongoing COVID-19 travel restrictions.
In order to provide flexibility and give travellers peace of mind when purchasing for future travel, Porter added in the same announcement that they are waiving change and cancellation fees on all fares booked between today and February 11.
However, I tried to make a booking by randomly selecting March 1 for a flight from Toronto to New York and it states otherwise for Basic, Standard and Flexible fares and only Freedom fare shows “No change fees” as can be seen below:
This is almost a year now that Porter has suspended operations since March 21, 2020 since the outbreak of the current pandemic.
