The last set of special offers from TD on their Aeroplan Visa cards ended on June 02, 2019.
TD has now launched a new set of offers that you can grab until September 03, 2019 – however note that these are slightly degraded compared to the old offer that just expired.
Here is a summary of whats “not so good” in the current offer compared to the old offer:
TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite Privilege
Minimum spend to earn the second bonus of 25000 aeroplan miles – now raised from the old $1000 to $2,000 within 90 days of account opening.
TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite
Minimum spend to earn the second bonus of 10000 aeroplan miles – now raised from the old $1000 to $2,000 within 90 days of account opening.
The second bonus is now reduced from 15000 aeroplan miles to 10000 aeroplan miles.
TD Aeroplan Visa Platinum
Minimum spend to earn the second bonus of 10000 aeroplan miles – now raised from the old $1000 to $2,000 within 90 days of account opening.
There is nothing exciting or new compared to the old offers, but on the contrary, the minimum spend has been doubled and the second bonus on the TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite is lower.
Rest all remains same e.g. Annual fee waived for Visa Infinite and Visa Platinum, First Bonus when you use the card etc.
So if you already applied for the offers that ended on Jun 2nd, mark your calendars for early December due to the fine print of having to wait for six months to re-qualify for the bonus offers again to look out for and apply for new cards from TD.
