Scotia bank has a new promo where you can earn $300 and rewards too.

When you open a Scotia One Chequing account, you get:
– Unlimited transactions
– 2 Free Interac e-transfers every month
– Rewards on debit transactions – You can choose between the SCENE and Scotia Rewards reward programs.
You can earn 1 SCENE point or 1 Scotia Reward Point for every $5 you spend on debit purchase transactions and Interac Flash transactions.

To qualify for the special offer, you need to:
1)    Open a new Scotia One^TM chequing account by July 1, 2019.

2)    Complete two of the following three things within 60 days of opening your account:

• Set up an eligible recurring direct deposit, which will recur monthly for a minimum of 3 consecutive months.
• Set up at least 2 eligible separate recurring pre-authorized transactions that are $50 or more, which will each recur monthly for a minimum of 3 consecutive months.
• Make an eligible $50 bill payment through online or mobile banking.

You will then have $300 cash directly deposited into your new account within 2 months of completing the above requirements.

Note:
There is a monthly fee of $13.95.
However, monthly account fee is waived by maintaining a minimum daily closing balance of $4,000 for the entire month.
