As per the UAE government’s directive, Emirates will temporarily suspend all passenger services from 25 March 2020. You don’t currently need to call them to cancel your booking as they will not charge no show fees. Please however complete the Travel voucher request form to re-book your flight later.
Customers who booked directly with Emirates can visit the Travel Voucher webpage and add “Refund request due to Coronavirus” in the comments section.
Customers who booked with a travel agent must contact them for further assistance with their bookings.

Emirates has made an update and announced:
Having received requests from governments & customers to support repatriation of travellers, Emirates will continue to operate passenger and cargo flights to few countries until further notice, as long as borders remain open, and there is demand.

Dubai-based Emirates Airline just announced today that they will suspend all passenger flights by March 25 due to the coronavirus crisis. SkyCargo operations will continue.
The temporary suspension comes amid mounting national lockdowns, border closures and flight groundings as coronavirus cases climb around the world.
Emirates is the world’s largest A380 operator, and top-five largest airline in terms of passenger and freight ton kilometers flown. “As a global network airline, we find ourselves in a situation where we cannot viably operate passenger services until countries re-open their borders, and travel confidence returns,” Emirates Group chairman and CEO Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed al-Maktoum said in Sunday’s statement. “By Wednesday 25 March, although we will still operate cargo flights which remain busy, Emirates will have temporarily suspended all its passenger operations. We continue to watch the situation closely, and as soon as things allow, we will reinstate our services.”
Emirates is my favourite airline to fly on and I pray that we overcome this pandemic quickly. I look forward to flying again soon on Emirates.
