As we see an uptick in travel, it is good to see more and more lounges re-opening. The latest one to re-open since October 12, is the Desjardins Odyssey Lounge in Montreal.
The lounge at gate 63 in the international zone is now open from 2:00 p.m. until the last flight (opening hours subject to change depending on the flight schedule) with access to passengers holding the Desjardins Prestige credit cards:
Visa Odyssey Infinite Privilege – get 12 free passes a year
Odyssey World Elite Mastercard – get 8 free passes a year
and if you hold:
Odyssey Gold Visa, Prestige Platinum and Platinum Visa – these give you 50% off the regular entrance fee for you, one other person and upto 3 children under the age of 18 accompanying you. Children under 3 years old are admitted free.
The Desjardins Odyssey Lounge is only available to cardholders taking international flights from gates 51–68 in the international zone. This does not include flights to Canadian or U.S. destinations.
The lounge is being renovated and this work is being done when the lounge is closed. Hence, you are still able to enjoy and relax with access to
– Unlimited refreshments including wines, beers and spirits
– Meals and snacks on order
– Free Wi-Fi
– USB charging ports
– family ares (with touch screens, games and books_
Note, as of September 1st, in accordance with the Quebec government’s requirements, it will be mandatory to present a vaccine passport for Quebec citizens or proof of vaccination for residents outside of Quebec to eat in restaurants with table service and that applies to the Desjardins Odyssey lounge as well.
Additionally, since the lounge is open for a limited time only, outside of opening hours, you can go to the Desjardins kiosk near gate 53 in the international jetty to request a $25 coupon (for 1 person) that is valid at participating restaurants.
Combined with taking the Q-Suites to Doha, one would need to allow extra time to check out both the National Bank Lounge along with the Desjardins Odyssey Lounge, before settling in your Q-Suite.
Looking forward to more travels as restrictions ease and more countries open up to Canadians. Sante!!
