Last year you could earn a $200 (CAD) statement credit when you spend $200 (CAD) in a single transaction. However, this year when you spend $200 (CAD) or more you can earn a $50 (CAD) statement credit. In order to get this, You must use your registered American Express Card to make a qualifying purchase at any of the participating Duty Free store locations at Pearson International Airport between December 14, 2018 at 12:00:01am ET and January 14, 2019 11:59:59 pm ET.
Also, the duration is shorter this year i.e. for 1 month compared to 2 months last year.
