Repatriation flights by ME3 carriers

Repatriation flights by ME3 carriers

Its great to see the ME3 airlines, Emirates, Etihad and Qatar Airways putting repatriation flights to get foreigners stranded safely back home.

Emirates
Emirates will fly passengers outbound from the UAE to some destinations from 06 April. Initial flights to commence from Dubai to London Heathrow, Frankfurt, Paris, Zurich and Brussels.

Note that if you are considering booking one of these flights, you will need to check eligibility from the respective country government guidance and entry criteria on the IATA information page to ensure you are able to travel.  You do not need to contact your Embassy for any further travel permissions/documentation.

Additionally
– Passengers are reminded to check-in and arrive 3 hours ahead of departure at Dubai Airport Terminal 2 to avoid any delays.
– Passengers are reminded to bring their own face masks, hand gloves and abide by social distancing rules.
– Passengers will undergo thermal screening procedures at the airport

Etihad
If you’re a foreign citizen in the UAE, from 5 April Etihad will be operating a number of daily outbound flights to help you return home.

Repatriation flights will start with Seoul Incheon, followed by destinations such as Melbourne, Singapore, Manila, Jakarta and Amsterdam. These destinations are subject to government approvals.

Update on Apr12: Etihad will now be flying from Abu Dhabi to Brussels, Dublin, London Heathrow, Tokyo Narita and Zurich in addition to the routes above.

Qatar Airways
Qatar Airways are still operating flights to many cities around the world including London, Paris, Frankfurt, and Sydney, helping thousands of passengers get home safely.
Check the website for real time updates.

Note these are not government funded flights and you need to pay to fly on these flights.

Hope everyone stranded is able to reach home safely.
