Chances are that you have both the Amex Platinum or Gold charge card and the Amex Cobalt credit card.
Whats important to note is that both these accumulate MR points in two different buckets.
i.e. with Amex Platinum or Gold you can accumulate Amex MR First points and with the Amex Cobalt you can accumulate MR Select Tier points.
Now that we know the difference, its important to know how to distinguish between the two when you log in to your Amex account and transfer from the correct balance.
You need to hover with your mouse over “Your Points Account”, then hover over “Switch Account”, then select “MR First” if transferring from Amex Platinum or Gold or select “MR Select Tier” is transferring from Amex Cobalt.
